Cinemas around Dudley

Showcase Cinema

Castlegate Way, Dudley DY1 4TA, UK – 0871 220 1000

This used to be my favourite cinema, but it's now showing its age. The seats in screen 13 are past their best. I hope to see an upgrade to reclining seats in the very near future. Other then that, excellent service from the staff. Will go again, but only to meetbmy needs in regard to screening times. If I'm more flexible, I'll go else where with modern seats.

I went to see Mama Mia on the opening day. I can thoroughly recommend going to a matinee it was busy and we did not have to queue to get in. The only downside was that we booked on line and the screen shot was not an accurate representation of the theatre, which is important as I use a wheelchair, luckily it was not too busy, do this time it was not a problem. Thoroughly recommend going to see new blockbusters on the day that they're released in the afternoon

Odeon Cinema Dudley

The Embankment, Brierley Hill DY5 1SY, UK – 0333 014 4501

Love the place !, Although I'm a bit of a film buff. Staff are always friendly and helpful and although cinema food is always expensive - there is a Costa within the cinema where you can get a nice latte. There is always the silver screen outside the school holidays - where you can see a good film and have coffee and biscuits on a Tuesday and Thursday- all for £3.00!!

The cinema itself is very nice. Plenty of screens (some with the VIP seating also.) there is a Ben and Jerry's counter, Costa inside, and other food and drink is available to purchase. However, the ticket prices are a lot higher here than most other cinemas.

Theatres for Dudley

Dudley Little Theatre

Netherton Arts Centre, Northfield Rd, Dudley DY2 9ER, UK – 01902 566077

Nice place. Comfortable seats. Nice staff. Enjoyed the play.

Amateur dramatics at its best

Dudley Evolve

Tower Street, Dudley, West Midlands DY1 1AF, UK – 01384 363656

Great friendly atmosphere. Can be In their quite a few hours but prices are much cheaper than a main salon. Would recommend.

I go here for Evolve, hair salon and beauty. It is a college so you can be in here longer than usual and of course all students are training though it considerably reduces the cost as a trade in.

Hardwicke Theatre, Thorns Community College

Stockwell Ave, Brierley Hill, Brieley Hill DY5 2NU, UK – 01384 816225
